Advantage Flea Treatment for Dogs is a fast-acting flea control solution, available across weight bands from Puppies and Small Dogs up to 4kg through to Dogs 10kg to 25kg, in 4 or 6 tube packs.
Imidacloprid works by contact on the skin surface, killing fleas typically within 12 hours (98-100% of exposed fleas) without needing to be absorbed into the bloodstream first. Protection lasts around 30 days and remains effective through bathing and swimming. It's worth being clear that Advantage covers fleas only, unlike Advocate, which also covers heartworm prevention and intestinal worms.
