Description
Aquasonic Bactonex is a broad-spectrum treatment for bacterial, fungal and protozoal infections in freshwater and marine aquariums, covering common problems like whitespot, velvet, chilodonella, trichodina and trichodinella in one product rather than needing a separate treatment for each.
It's suited to routine use during water changes, as a precaution when introducing new fish or running a quarantine tank, and as a direct treatment when fish look listless, stressed or are eating less than usual. Because it contains aminacrine hydrochloride and methylene blue, remove any activated carbon from your filter before dosing, as carbon will absorb the active ingredients and reduce treatment effectiveness, and keep the tank well aerated throughout the treatment period.
