Feeding and safety
Hooves are a hard chew, so supervise your dog with one and take it away if it splinters or cracks into sharp pieces. Discard the last portion once it is small enough to swallow whole. If your dog is a determined power chewer that cracks hard items rather than gnawing them down, a softer chew is the safer choice.
