Description
Duck is the draw here. Most Australian dogs grow up on chicken, beef and lamb, so duck is a change of pace and often goes down well with a dog that has become bored of the usual treats.
These are small to medium slices of duck breast, kept deliberately soft rather than dried hard. That makes them easy to tear into smaller pieces for training, and manageable for puppies, older dogs and anyone whose teeth are not up to a firm chew.
One thing worth being clear about: while duck is the main ingredient, these are not a single protein treat. The recipe includes soy protein alongside the duck, plus glycerine and preservatives to hold the soft texture.
