Description
A strap is the part of a walking bag you feel. Load the bag with a phone, a water bottle and a handful of treats, walk two kilometres with it hanging off one shoulder on something thin, and by the time you are home there is a red line across your collarbone. This strap is 4cm wide, which spreads that weight over enough shoulder that you stop noticing it, and it is the single biggest comfort difference between a bag you wear and a bag you leave by the door.
It also unclips. There are clips at both ends, so the strap comes off the bag completely rather than being sewn in. One bag can have several looks, and swapping takes about five seconds at the front door.

What the 80cm to 135cm range actually covers
That span is wider than it sounds. At the short end, around 80cm, the strap sits high and tight for a short crossbody carry or over one shoulder like a handbag. Let it out to the full 135cm and it becomes a long crossbody that sits at the hip, which is where a taller wearer or anyone in a winter coat will want it. Most people set it once and leave it, but it is worth knowing you are not buying a fixed length.
The D-ring
There is a D-ring on the strap for hanging accessories, which is the natural home for a poop bag holder if your bag is already full or if you want bags reachable without opening anything.
Washing
Straps take the worst of the sunscreen, sweat and dog. This one is machine washable at 30 degrees. Air dry it only, no tumble dryer, and the webbing and hardware both stay in good shape.
