Description

How to measure
Take the measurement around the base of the neck, where the collar settles, keeping the tape below the jaw, then slide two fingers between the tape and the coat. Because the bands overlap, a dog at 33cm or 48cm has a choice: the narrower size sits neater, the wider one distributes pressure better on a strong dog.
Puppies take the X-Small
The X-Small is built as a puppy collar, padded in the same way but cut narrower at 1cm so there is no unnecessary weight on a small neck. It covers 23.5cm to 28cm, and the Small then takes over from 28cm through to 44cm. That overlap is the reason a growing dog does not need a new collar every few weeks.
Will the print wear off?
Not if it is washed sensibly. Wash at 30 degrees inside a wash bag so the buckle and D-ring are not knocked around the drum, then leave it to air dry. What ages a printed collar is heat and hot water rather than mud, so avoid the tumble dryer and it will keep its look for years.
