Description
White daisies on baby pink is about as gentle as a dog collar gets, and that is the point of it. Measuring, which takes a minute
Put a soft tape around the base of the neck, low down where the collar naturally rests rather than near the ears, and make sure two fingers slide between the tape and the coat. If that figure falls inside two size bands, either fits, and the smaller one will simply look finer on a delicate dog.
The part you cannot see
Under the print there is solid neoprene padding, which is what separates this from a cheap printed strap. Unpadded webbing pushes the whole force of a pull into one thin line across the throat and, on a fine coat, rubs a bare mark where it sits. Padding spreads the pressure. The collar is fully adjustable, fastens with a plastic side-release buckle and carries a D-ring for the lead or a name tag.
Pale collar, muddy dog
Pink shows dirt, and pretending otherwise would be silly. It also washes well: 30 degrees in a wash bag so the hardware is protected, then air dried out of direct sunlight. Heat is what fades a print, so keep it away from the tumble dryer.
