Description
Leopard print is not a going out print. It is the one that works on a Tuesday morning in the drizzle, on a beach, in every single photo, against a black dog, a white dog or a scruffy brown one. This is the bold everyday lead, and it happens to be reversible: khaki leopard on one face and tan leopard on the reverse, so a single lead gives you two looks.
This is the puppy version of the Cocopup lead, and the difference is deliberate. A full length lead on a very small dog leaves a long loop of slack swinging near their feet, and a wider strap is simply more weight than a puppy needs on the ring of a small collar. A shorter, lighter lead keeps a young dog closer to your leg while they are still learning what a lead is for, which is exactly the phase where close and calm beats far and dragging.
Size, stated honestly
Cocopup London does not publish exact measurements for the puppy lead. What the brand states is that it is shorter and narrower than the standard lead, and the standard lead measures 152cm long and 2cm wide. Use that as your reference point: expect something noticeably under 152cm and under 2cm wide, but we will not quote you a figure the brand has not published.

How much dog will it hold?
Cocopup London states clearly that this is not a heavy duty lead and that the range suits smaller breeds and lighter use. Taken for what it is, a well finished everyday lead for a puppy or small dog, it does that job beautifully. It is not built for a grown large dog who pulls hard, and if your puppy is heading that way, plan on moving to a heavy duty lead as they grow.
Washing
Wash at 30 degrees in a wash bag so the clip does not knock about, then hang to dry rather than tumble drying.
Leopard runs right through the range, so a matching collar or a harness in the same print is an easy pairing, and the handle D-ring exists specifically to carry a poop bag holder.
