Description
Goldfish are hungry, messy fish, so anyone running a decent sized tank or a pond gets through flake quickly. Feedwell Goldfish Flakes Bulk Buy is a complete staple diet for goldfish in 1kg and 5kg bags, which brings the cost of every feed down sharply against buying small shakers.
Flake suits goldfish because it sits on the surface at first and then drifts slowly down through the water, so fish can take it at the top or catch it midway as it falls. That covers the way most goldfish feed, and it lets you see exactly how much has gone in. The formulation is built as everyday nutrition rather than a treat, supporting steady condition, colour and vitality over months of daily feeding.
Feed once or twice a day and only as much as the fish clear within a few minutes. Anything left over rots and turns into ammonia, and goldfish already produce plenty of waste, so netting out leftovers and keeping up with water changes matters more with this species than with most.
