Wet the surface before pressing the mat on for the strongest hold, then spread on yoghurt, peanut butter or another spreadable treat to keep your dog licking and occupied. The same textured pattern that makes it useful at bath time also works for everyday slow feeding, since the licking action draws out mealtime and can help reduce bloating from eating too fast.
