The MiniJumbuk Sleep Calm Couch is a bolster dog bed with raised walls on three sides and an open front, designed for dogs that need back and head support to settle. Dogs that press against the couch, lean into a wall or wedge into corners to sleep are not being difficult - they are telling you they switch off better with contact along their back. This bed gives them that deliberately, in a Fawn wool blend that fits quietly into most rooms. Made in Naracoorte, South Australia.

The Sleep Calm Couch is available in one size only. Overall dimensions tell you what the bed takes up in the room. The sleep zone - 55cm x 43cm - is the cushioned floor inside the three bolsters, and this is what to measure your dog against. Measure nose to base of tail stretched out and add 15-20cm. A dog that curls or rests its head up on a bolster can comfortably sit above that number; a large dog that sprawls completely flat on its side will hang over the open front edge. There is no larger size available, so measure carefully before ordering.
Three Sides vs Full Donut - Which to Choose
The Sleep Calm Oasis (donut) gives full 360° enclosed contact and suits dogs that curl nose to tail and want to feel completely surrounded. The Sleep Calm Couch is a better choice for dogs that want back and head support but still like the option of stepping out easily, or dogs that are too large for the Oasis sleep zones but still benefit from wall contact. If your dog leans on things to sleep but also moves around during the night, the open front and larger floor area of the Couch suits them better.
