Peckish Chick Starter is formulated for the very first stage of a chick's life, from day one through to around 8 to 10 weeks of age, when nutritional needs are at their highest relative to body size and getting the balance right sets up healthy growth for the rest of the bird's life.
Once chicks reach 8 to 10 weeks, Peckish recommends a smooth transition onto Peckish Poultry Grower to carry them through to point of lay. From there, Peckish Free Range Layer Pellets suit most backyard flocks, while Peckish Performance Layer Pellets offer a higher protein option for flocks that need more substantial feed.
