The Pipsqueak Salt Lickstone gives small pets like mice, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits a simple way to get essential salts and minerals that aren't always covered by a standard diet, while also giving them something to gnaw on that satisfies a natural instinct they'd otherwise redirect onto cage bars or bedding.
Because it's a hard, durable stone rather than a soft chew, regular gnawing also helps keep front teeth worn down and trim, which matters for rodents whose teeth grow continuously. It attaches inside the cage using the supplied holder, and as with any salt lick, make sure fresh water stays available at all times.
