Description
Sera Immune Probiotic Granules are a growth and conditioning food for ornamental fish, aimed at keepers pushing young stock on or conditioning breeders. Available in 45g, 112g and 450g.
A fish's gut does most of the work in keeping it healthy. Poorly digested food passes through without being used, and that has two consequences: the fish gets less out of every meal, and more waste goes into the water for your filter bacteria to process. This formula includes the probiotic Bacillus subtilis alongside digestible protein sources, supporting the gut flora so more of the food is actually absorbed. Better digestion means stronger growth and better disease resistance, and it also means less undigested waste feeding the ammonia side of the nitrogen cycle in a heavily stocked grow out tank.
The granules sink slowly, staying in the mid water zone where most ornamental community fish and young cichlids feed, so the food reaches them rather than sitting on the gravel. Feed once or twice a day and only what is cleared within a couple of minutes. Remove leftovers as usual, and remember that no food replaces water changes and a mature filter.
