Description
Some dogs circle a room three times, wedge themselves into a corner and only then fall asleep. That is not fussiness. A dog who sleeps against something has fewer directions to keep an eye on, and the Snooza Calming Cuddler is built around exactly that instinct. It is a round faux fur bed with a padded wall running the whole way around it, and the wall is the whole point: a nervous dog can push their back into it, hook their chin over the top and sleep with their head supported instead of flat on the floor. Chin support and a covered back are what actually settle a restless sleeper, far more than the word calming on a label.
Mink is the warm mid brown of the range. It sits quietly in a lounge room, and it is forgiving about the dust, grit and dropped hair that a long pile fur collects between washes in a way the pale colourways are not.

Snooza notes that soft goods measurements are approximate. Its size guide does not list the Small against any dog category, so we have left that cell blank rather than guess at one.
How to choose your size
The number that decides whether your dog fits is the inner sleeping area, not the outer diameter. On the Medium, for example, 70cm is the outside of the bed but only 45cm of that is floor your dog can lie on, because the padded wall takes up the rest of the ring. Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they are lying down and relaxed, then add 15 to 20cm. A dog who curls tightly can sit a little under that against the inner figure, since the curl uses the wall. A dog who stretches a front leg out over the rim needs the next size up. If your measurement lands between two sizes, take the larger one: a cuddler that is slightly too big still works, while one that is slightly too small gets slept in half on and half off.

Worth being straight about the trade offs. Long pile fur is the softest thing in the Snooza range and it is also the highest maintenance: it picks up hair and holds it, and it needs a shake out and a regular wash to keep looking new. It is a warm bed, so a heavy coated dog in a Queensland summer will likely sleep on the tiles instead. And it is soft goods, not armour, so a dog who works at seams and stuffing is better matched to something tougher. For a sprawler who never curls, a flat mattress uses the same footprint far better than a rimmed bed does.
