Description
Tetra Guppy Colour Mini Flakes is a complete daily diet for guppies, platies, mollies, swordtails and other livebearers, in a 30g tub. The flakes are made small on purpose.
Flake size is the part most people overlook. A standard tropical flake is built for a fish several times the size of a guppy, so a guppy has to tear pieces off it, and the fragments that break away scatter and sink before anyone eats them. Mini flakes are already at a scale a small mouth can take whole, which means more of what you feed is eaten and less ends up rotting in the gravel and feeding ammonia. Where the food sits in the water matters too. These flakes float briefly before sinking slowly, so surface feeding guppies get first pass at them while mid water tank mates pick up what drifts down.

Feed once or twice a day and only what is cleared within a couple of minutes. Guppy fry are smaller again and need a finer fry food until they are big enough to take flake.
