Description
Silver Fox is the cool grey in the Cuddler line, a long pile faux fur shot through with darker and lighter tips so it reads as silver rather than flat grey. In a room of pale timber, concrete or charcoal furniture it disappears into the scheme, which is a large part of why people buy this colourway over the browns. One caveat before you fall for the photo: a heavy shedding black or dark brindle dog will show up on it clearly between washes. A light or grey coated dog is the easy match.

Underneath the colour, this is the standard Calming Cuddler build, and the reason it works on an anxious dog is mechanical rather than mystical. The padded wall runs unbroken around the bed, so a dog lying against it has their spine shielded and a raised edge to rest their chin on. Head support plus a covered back is what lets a light sleeper stop scanning the room and actually go under. A dog who already sleeps jammed behind the couch or under a side table is telling you this shape will land.

Snooza describes its soft goods measurements as approximate, and its size guide gives no dog category against the Small, so that column is left unfilled rather than invented.
How to choose your size
Read the third column, not the second. The overall figure includes the padded ring, and on a Large that ring swallows 30cm of the 90cm width, leaving a 60cm circle of flat sleeping surface. People who order on the outer number are the ones who end up with a dog draped over the edge. Get your dog to lie down on the floor, measure nose to the base of the tail, then add 15 to 20cm and compare that to the inner figure. Curlers can live with a slightly tighter inner circle because they use the wall as part of the bed. Anything in between two sizes, go up. And if you are buying for a puppy who is still growing, buy for the adult size rather than the current one.
Where it is not the right call: a dog who sleeps flat out on their side with all four legs extended gets nothing from a rim and would be better served by a flat mattress of the same width. A dog who overheats will find the deep fur too warm in summer. And long pile is not the surface for a determined digger or chewer, who will do better on a tougher canvas style bed.
