The sleeping area is the round cushion inside the padded wall, and it is the number to compare with your dog. On the Medium, the bed is 70cm across the outside but 45cm inside. Dogs that curl tightly can be a little longer than the sleeping area because they use the wall as part of the bed. Snooza notes that soft goods measurements are approximate.
Measure your dog in 30 seconds
- Wait until your dog is lying down in their usual sleeping position.
- Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
- Add 15 to 20cm. That number should fit within the sleeping area in the table above.
Between two sizes? Choose the bigger one. A bed that is too small is the number one reason dog beds get sent back.

Washing and care
Remove the covers and machine wash warm (40°C) separately, with zips closed and in a laundry bag. Cool tumble dry. Shake out the fur between washes to keep it looking new.

Will a calming bed help my anxious dog?
The Calming Cuddler is designed for dogs that circle, wedge into corners or sleep pressed against furniture. The padded wall gives them something to lean on and a place to rest their head, which helps them feel safe and settle.
My dog is 12kg. Medium or Large?
Measure first. A tightly curled 12kg dog may fit the Medium, but most dogs this size are happier in the Large, especially if they stretch a leg over the rim.
Is it suitable for cats?
Yes. The Small suits cats and toy dogs.
Is it too warm for summer?
Long pile fur is a warm bed. Thick coated dogs in hot climates may prefer a cooler bed in summer.

What if the size is wrong?
