Description
A flat organic cotton and wool dog futon for dogs that sleep stretched out. Some dogs never curl up. They drop onto their side, push their legs out and take all the floor they can find, and for them a bolster bed is mostly wasted wall. This futon is a flat, quilted wool mattress with nothing around the edges, so the whole surface is sleeping space. Charcoal is the version for the middle of the house: dark grey canvas sits quietly in a hallway or beside the couch and hides paw marks and shed hair far better than a pale fabric. Made in Australia by Snooza since 1989.

Snooza names its sizes rather than numbering them: Original is the medium and Mighty is the large. There is no third size. A futon has no raised rim, so the futon size is the real sleeping area.
Measure your dog in 30 seconds
- Wait until your dog is lying stretched out on their side.
- Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
- Add 15 to 20cm. That number should fit within the futon size in the table above.
Between two sizes? Choose Mighty. A dog that sprawls needs the full length. A dog that curls tightly can go down a size, as they sleep in a circle in the middle either way.

Washing and care
Unzip the cover and machine wash on a cold gentle cycle (up to 30°C). Wash the inner on a wool cycle. Tumble dry cool only. Do not bleach, and keep the iron off the printed logo, which is a paste print. Air the futon in the sun regularly.

Which size is which?

Will it fit on a trampoline bed?
Yes, it lies flat over a raised bed as a soft mattress. Check the futon size against the frame.
Is it good for anxious dogs?
It is flat with no walls. Dogs that like to feel enclosed are happier in a cuddler style such as the Calming Cuddler.
Is it chew proof?
No. Cotton canvas is tough, but a dedicated shredder will get through it.
Is there another colour?
