Description
Advantage Flea Treatment for Kittens and Small Cats up to 4kg is a fast-acting, easy-to-apply spot-on treatment, available in 4 or 6 tube packs at either 0.4ml dose.
Advantage's active ingredient, imidacloprid, works by contact on the skin's surface rather than being absorbed into the bloodstream, killing fleas through the nervous system on contact. Between 98 and 100% of fleas are typically killed within 12 hours, with reinfesting fleas killed within about 2 hours, and protection lasts around 30 days including through bathing and swimming (avoid shampooing within 48 hours of application). It's worth noting Advantage treats fleas only, it does not cover heartworm, intestinal worms or mites the way Advocate does.
